Sileby 1
Westfield Wanderers 5
Westfield travelled to sileby in a must win game as league leaders thringstone had a weekend rest. Westfield were slow out the blocks a problem they have had so far this season, and struggled to find thier game, and on a dodgy pitch it didnt help. Matt Burt came close to inspire westfield to raise their game.
Sileby started to test the Westfield defence but good defending from Paton, Hood, Francks and Cheshire kept them at bay. Paton got hold of the ball and passed it up to Jordan who played a one two with Watts,a first time cross by Jordan and Matt Burt rose to finish with a brilliant over head kick to put Westfield one up up at the break.
Westfield came out in the second period looking for goals, Sileby were playing three at the back so the wide players got to work to strectch their defence Jay Seabrook was playing a blinder on the left, cross after cross he put over and Craig Jones pounced to put Westfield two to the good. Another by Burt and then Seabrooke bagged one himself to make it four.
Sileby grabbed one back before the ever improving Pevan Singh netted to make 5-1
